Images of an all-new Lamborghini supercar with no roof and no windscreen have leaked online ahead of the mystery roadster’s unveiling at the Geneva motor show on Wednesday.
The wild Aventador-based concept is revealed in these low-resolution images that were first published by Czech website AutoForum.
At this stage, it’s unclear exactly what we’re looking at. Clearly, it’s not a production model, with many suggesting this car is likely to be the only one of its kind.
It’s more likely this could be a concept version of the upcoming Aventador roadster – a car we have been waiting for since the LP 700-4 coupe was revealed early last year.
The name of the new open-top bull also remains a matter of speculation. Some believe it is called the Lamborghini Unica, while others have suggested it is called the Lamborghini Aventador J Speedster, with the ‘J’ referring to Appendix J of the FIA’s regulations that relates to production requirements for racing cars.
If it’s anything like the Aventador under the skin, expect to find a 6.5-litre V12 engine positioned in the middle producing 515kW of power and 690Nm of brain-bending torque.
