The new offering from the German auto major can be customized through the AMG Performance Studio; however, it is available with only one variant in India. The coupe comes with standard 6.3 litre V8 cylinder that ensures maximum engine power of 420 kW/571 hp at 6800 rpm and a thumping top torque of 650 Nm at 4750 rpm. The SLS AMG also sports dual-zone automatic climate control, AM/FM stereo with 6-disc DVD/CD changer, dual-zone automatic climate control, dual front airbags, front side airbags, side-curtain airbags, knee airbags, a tire-pressure monitor, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, traction control and electronic stability control.

The rev counter displays a lot vehicle related indicators/warning lamps such as SRS, engine diagnostic, ABS, engine oil temperature, tyre pressure and electric parking brake. Apart from these advanced cabin features for driver's help and comfort, the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG is assembled with high-quality sports seats with magnesium backrests that are dressed with designer leather and you can select from nine colour schemes to match it with the dazzling exterior. The seats and its backrest can be adjusted electronically for three times as per your needs. However, the bucket seat can only be adjusted manually fore-and aft position. Both the seats share centrally positioned handrest.
Although the cockpit of the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG looks small but has various storage compartments in dashboard, centre console rear wall and rear side of the centre console. At the dashboard, a glove box is given that houses media interface and 12 V socket for equipment of up to 180 W. Under the armrest, mobile phone bracket and cup holders are placed.
